Omar does not like writing, and thinks his handwriting is unsightly. One day, he finds a magical pencil, and cannot resist the urge to try to test its magical powers. Day after day, Omar's handwriting is becoming more and more beautiful with the magical pencil. Until he inevitably has to learn the source of this magic.
It is important for children to be confident in their own abilities, otherwise they would not test the limits of their capabilities. In this simple and gentle story children learn that confidence can go a long way, and with practice and dedication they definitely can exceed their own expectations of what they can and can't do.
